Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Section 1 — Who We Are
NikahCircle is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides Muslim matchmakers (rishta aunties) worldwide with their own branded matrimonial portals. Each aunty operates her own portal at nikahcircle.com/[her-name], through which her clients browse marriage profiles and connect with potential matches. NikahCircle is the technology provider — we build and maintain the platform. The rishta aunty is the operator of her individual portal. Section 2 — Information We Collect
2a. Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your email address. We use magic link authentication — we never store passwords.
2b. Profile Information (Clients)
When you submit a marriage profile, you voluntarily provide: gender, date of birth, marital status, height, complexion, disability information, whether you are Hafiz/Hafiza, parda level, willingness to relocate, education, institution, profession, source of income, monthly income, sect, caste, life goals, future plans, religious practice notes, family details (father and mother professions, siblings), residence type, current city and country, home city, nationality, partner requirements, and WhatsApp number. This information is provided voluntarily and is used solely for matrimonial matchmaking purposes.
2c. Aunty Information
When a rishta aunty registers, we collect her display name, portal slug, WhatsApp number, bio, success stories, city, and country.
2d. Subscription Data
We record when a client's subscription was activated and when it expires. We do not store any payment information — all payments happen offline between clients and their aunty.
2e. Usage Data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This is used for security and performance monitoring only.
Section 3 — How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: operate and maintain your account, display your profile to other logged-in users of the same aunty portal, enable rishta aunties to manage their client base efficiently, send you transactional emails about your profile status (submitted, approved, live), enforce subscription access controls (subscriber vs non-subscriber), improve the platform based on usage patterns, and respond to your support requests.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Section 4 — Profile Visibility Rules
Your profile is visible only to logged-in users of the specific aunty portal you registered on. Non-subscribers (clients who have not paid the aunty) can see limited information only: your gender, approximate age, city and country, sect, education level, and marital status. Subscribers (clients who have paid the aunty for an annual subscription) can see your full profile including height, complexion, income details, family information, partner requirements, religious practice details, and your WhatsApp number. Your WhatsApp number is never shown to non-subscribers under any circumstances. Your profile is only made visible to others after your rishta aunty reviews and approves it.
Section 5 — Data Sharing
We share your data only with the following trusted service providers who help us operate the platform: Supabase (our database and authentication provider, based in the USA), Resend (our transactional email provider). Both providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not sell your data. We will disclose your data if required by law.
Section 6 — Payments and Financial Data
NikahCircle does not process payments. All subscription payments from clients to rishta aunties happen entirely offline — cash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer, or any method agreed between the client and aunty. NikahCircle never sees, handles, or stores any payment card information, bank account details, or financial credentials of any kind. The rishta aunty manually confirms receipt of payment in her dashboard, which triggers the subscription activation.
Section 7 — Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If your subscription expires, your profile is hidden but your account and data are retained so you can resubscribe. You may delete your profile at any time from the My Profile page. To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at hi@nikahcircle.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Section 8 — Data Security
We take data security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. Our database is hosted on Supabase which uses enterprise-grade security. We use Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, meaning every user can only access data they are explicitly permitted to see. Magic link authentication means there are no passwords to steal. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure — please use a unique email address and report any security concerns to hi@nikahcircle.com immediately.
Section 9 — Your Rights
You have the right to: access all personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information (via My Profile page), delete your profile (via My Profile page), request complete account deletion (via email), withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Section 10 — Cookies
We use essential cookies only. These are required for authentication and session management — without them the platform cannot function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
Section 11 — Children
NikahCircle is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted a profile, please contact us immediately.
Section 12 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
